Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which Alasdair Gold shared footage of Son Heung-min during a pre-season friendly, as well as heaping a considerable amount of praise on the winger.

The footage was taken from Spurs’ pre-season friendly against Watford – which the Hornets won 2-1 – and featured an opposition player having a shot at an open Spurs goal from distance in the 92nd minute, before Son sprinted back to stop the ball on the Tottenham goalline.

Gold then stated: “This, in the 92nd minute yesterday, from Son was ridiculous. The man has stamina and pace to burn. Also four goals in four games in pre-season.”

In reaction to the footage and his comments, fans of the club flocked to have their say on the matter, with many joining the journalist in his praise for the winger.

Since joining Spurs from Bayer Leverkusen in what was a £27 million deal back in 2015, the 28-year-old has featured 229 times for the club, scoring 85 goals and providing 47 assists.

Last season, despite a disappointing season for the club, in which they finished in sixth place in the Premier League, Son once again excelled, scoring 11 goals and providing 10 assists over his 30 league appearances, averaging a highly impressive WhoScored match rating of 7.24.

As such, it is no wonder why these Spurs fans clearly love Son, and his efforts in the pre-season friendly appear to have only enhanced their fondness of the winger.
