Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to a transfer rumour linking their club with a move for FC Metz striker Habib Diallo.
According to Alasdair Gold in Football.london (via Talking THFC), the north London club are interested in signing the Senegalese striker this summer and he is keen to link up with Jose Mourinho, with the Lilywhites having also registered an interest in him in the January transfer window.
Last season in Ligue 1, the 25-year-old contributed 12 goals and three assists in 26 appearances which saw him average a solid 6.97/10 rating (per WhoScored), so it is perhaps easy to see why he is being linked with a move away from Les Grenats this summer.
He is currently valued at £10.8 million by Transfermarkt, suggesting that he would be a relatively cheap option for the north London club, and although he would perhaps prove to be a backup for Harry Kane, you would imagine that due to Spurs’ hectic schedule, he will be guaranteed some game time should he join.
Would Diallo be a good signing for Spurs?

Overall, it seems as if the Spurs fanbase is split when it comes to their opinions on Diallo, with some fans clearly not keen on recruiting from Ligue 1, whereas other Lilywhites supporters just want to add a striker to their squad.
