Fans of Leeds United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which features footage of Ezgjan Alioski with the North Macedonian national team.

The footage, originally appearing on his national team’s Instagram account, features the Leeds United player in training with his national side, however, while his teammates appear to be warming up with some light ball work, the 28-year-old is playing around with a hosepipe, occasionally spraying some of the other players.

Since joining Leeds back in 2017 in what was a £2.25 million deal from FC Lugano, Alioski has gone on to play 133 fixtures for the club, scoring 19 goals and providing 16 assists along the way.

Last season, the 28-year-old chipped in with five goals and three assists in United’s promotion-winning campaign, featuring from no less than five different positions throughout the season.

It is clear from the comments of these Leeds fans that Alioski is a fan favourite, with many more commenting on the player’s mischievous personality.

With the club playing Premier League football for the first time in 16 years next season, it will be interesting to see how Alioski fares playing with the side at a higher level than the Championship.

However, regardless of his performances on the pitch, it would seem that these Leeds fans have a soft spot for the 28-year-old, and love having him around the club.
