Many Leeds United fans have flocked to a tweet that was recently posted by 17-year-old Whites centre-back Charlie Cresswell in which he shared footage of himself in action during a recent pre-season game.
This footage, which is from Leeds United’s U23s’ recent pre-season clash with Manchester City’s U23s, shows the defender carrying the ball out from the back into the opposition’s half of the pitch before he subsequently played a pass out to his teammate positioned on the wing.
After the 17-year-old Leeds player shared this footage via a tweet, it caught the attention of plenty of Whites supporters who made their positive feelings about the defender known in response to the post.

Many of the Leeds fans who replied to this tweet were full of praise for the teenager, with one Whites supporter referring to Cresswell as a ‘Rolls Royce.’

Some other Whites supporters replied to this tweet to share that Cresswell reminds them of former Leeds loanee Ben White, who helped the club to earn promotion to the Premier League for the first time in 16 years by playing every minute of the club’s games in the Championship last term.
Looked like Ben White then ngl

So, as can be seen from these replies to Cresswell’s tweet, it seems as though plenty of Leeds fans were impressed by the ability that the defender showed on the ball in the footage that he recently shared via Twitter and hopefully, for Leeds and the young centre-back, he can continue his development and force his way into the first-team before too long, with him yet to appear in the senior side.
