Fans of Leeds have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which Alan Nixon reports of Leeds United’s bid for Rangers winger, Ryan Kent.

In his post, the journalist stated that Leeds were ‘making a bid for Ryan Kent at Rangers’, before claiming that the 23-year-old has been a ‘long term’ Marcelo Bielsa ‘fancy’.

Starting with an easy one how many points did Leeds end the season with?

Shortly after his tweet, Nixon shared an article of his for The Sun which went into further detail on Leeds’ ‘shock’ move for Kent.

In reaction to his original tweet, fans of Leeds flocked to have their say on the matter, with many suggesting that they believed their club could do a great deal better than signing the likes of Kent over this transfer window.

One fan even speculated that Leeds’ supposed interest in Ryan Kent means that a potential deal for Said Benrahma is off.

After spending a season on loan at Rangers during the 2018/19 season, Kent then made a £6.48 million permanent move from Liverpool to the Ibrox club last summer.

In total, the winger has played 80 games for Gers, scoring 16 goals and providing 13 assists.

Last season, Kent made 21 appearances in the Scottish Premiership, scoring seven goals, while, in the Europa League, he featured eight times, scoring once and providing two assists.

Despite these returns for Rangers, it would seem that many more fans of Leeds are not overly happy at the club’s reported bid for Kent, with more comments condemning the potential move.

All in all, it would appear that fans of Leeds would much rather their club turn their focus elsewhere than the £3.15 million-rated Kent, whom many fans seem to think would be a waste of money.
