Many Celtic fans have been talking about the latest tweet involving Marian Shved that recently emerged on social media.
The Celtic Twitter account recently posted an update about Shved, confirming that the Ukrainian has now left the Hoops on a temporary basis and has joined Belgian club KV Mechelen on loan until the end of the current campaign. The tweet also had a link to the club’s official website which included further details about the deal.
The announcement on Twitter caught the attention of many Celtic fans, who flocked to this update and made their opinions clear about Shved.
How convenient for Lenny to allow a buy option in his deal to lessen any serious competition for Forrest at RW, looking out for his wee mate.
That’s now four players with talented potential that’s left under his management without a proper chance (Shved, Arzani, Kouassi, Bayo).

Do you think Shved still has a future at Celtic?
No, he doesn't
Yes, he's got a future at Celtic
Another talented player given absolutely no opportunity.
We now have one fit right winger in the squad.
Are we cost cutting or what? Is their something we should know?

I assume we aren’t bothered about him anymore. If his issues were adapting to Scotland and learning the language it would have made more sense to loan him to and spfl side.

Lennon never gave the lad a chance !! wish he would go on loan
clueless manager, pays £5mill for a striker who’s scored one goal for West Ham when we’re crying out for a center half ?— john mooney (@Seansdaddy1) August 15, 2020
Shved signed for Celtic in January 2019 from Karpaty Lviv for a fee of £1.8m and was instantly loaned back to Karpaty until the end of the 2018/19 season (as per Transfermarkt).
Following the announcement of his latest loan move, some other Celtic fans also aired their thoughts about the winger.
What an absolute waste!! We seriously need to offer game time to talents like him. A young foreign player struggling to adapt…here’s a thought, regular football & involvement in our success, may have helped him more than being shelved completely.#MarianSHELVED

Yet another to leave the building, without ever having turned the lights on, farcical

Guarantee he bangs in a ton of goals in Belgium, but still wont be given a chance next season if he comes back

These Celtic fans seem frustrated by how Shved was used at Parkhead and some even seem angry at Neil Lennon.
Shved could make only three appearances for the Hoops in all competitions, and while he did score once in the Champions League qualifying stages last season, he played just 15 minutes of Premiership football (as per Transfermarkt).
It shows that Shved wasn’t used enough at Parkhead, but fans can still hope that he impresses in his loan stint at Mechelen and comes back as a better player.
