Many Celtic fans have flocked to a tweet that was recently posted by the Hoops’ £2.7m-rated full-back Jeremie Frimpong following the Glasgow-based club’s opening game of the 2020/21 season in which they managed to earn a dominant 5-1 victory over Hamilton Academical.
Frimpong scored Celtic’s second goal of this game in the 31st minute of the contest to give his side a 2-0 lead, and he took to Twitter after the game to celebrate his goal and his team’s impressive victory.
The 19-year-old shared three images in his recent tweet, one of which was taken from just behind Hamilton’s goal as Frimpong scored in this game. The other two images show the Dutchman celebrating his successful strike.
After the right-back shared these images via a tweet, plenty of Celtic supporters replied to his post to share praise for the player.

Mate, you are like Sonic the hedgehog. Rapid down that right hand side. Strong with a good center of gravity. What a player your are. Frightening son. Just frightening! You remind me of Agathe. But, more defensively sound. Took your goal so well. Instrumental for the 1st. #Player

Considering that Frimpong scored and delivered a positive performance for the Hoops last Sunday, it mightn’t be too surprising to see that many Celtic fans shared praise for the right-back in response to his recent post-match tweet. Furthermore, knowing that the player is just 19 years old, it may be understandable why some Hoops supporters shared some positive predictions about Frimpong’s future following his tweet.
