Many Celtic fans have been discussing the latest news update involving Tom Rogic that recently emerged on social media.

It has recently been reported that Rogic is ‘set’ for a £4 million switch to Qatar as Celtic are ‘in talks’ with an unnamed club and an agreement for the deal is ‘expected’ to be found in the next 24 hours. The report claims that Rogic’s time at Parkhead seems to be ‘drawing to a close’.

Rogic had arrived at Parkhead from Australian club Central Coast Mariners in January of 2013. He had a temporary loan stint at Melbourne Victory and he was there from January of 2014 till the summer of 2014 (as per Transfermarkt).

Some other Celtic fans also had a lot of things to say about the midfielder.

Clearly, some Celtic fans aren’t happy with the fact that Rogic is leaving but some seem satisfied by this move from the Hoops.

Since joining, Rogic has made 189 appearances in all competitions for the Hoops. He found the back of the net 38 times and even racked up 34 assists. He scored the club’s all-important stoppage-time winner in the Scottish Cup final of 2017 against Aberdeen.

That is a reflection of how Rogic was an important player over the years for Celtic and perhaps gave fans some memorable moments as well. He is currently valued at £1.80m, so getting a fee of £4 million might be a lucrative deal for the Bhoys.
