Many Celtic fans have been discussing the latest tweet that Superscoreboard relayed on social media.

Superscoreboard’s latest tweet involved Kieran Tierney, with the Scotsman talking about Celtic’s quest for their 10th Premiership title in a row.

The tweet had an audio clip of the Arsenal man talking about the 2020/21 season for the Hoops. He said that Celtic ‘rise up to the challenge’ whenever the need arises and he believes what the club has done over the last nine years is ‘incredible’.

Starting with an easy one - which club did Celtic sign Moussa Dembele from?

He said that winning a 10th title in a row is going to be ‘tough’ and there will be ‘challenges’ on the way. This tweet from Superscoreboard then caught the attention of a lot of Celtic fans, who made their opinion very clear about their former player. There seems to be a mixed reaction about Tierney and his words about Celtic.

Would you ever want Tierney back at Celtic?

Some Hoops fans seem annoyed at the fact that Tierney, who is now valued at £25.2 million (as per Transfermarkt), left Parkhead for Arsenal in the summer of 2019. While the Hoops are looking to win their 10th Premiership title in a row this season, Tierney has won as many as five titles of the total of nine that they’ve racked up in this period.

Some other Celtic fans also talked about Tierney and made their opinion clear about their former defender.

There is clearly a mixed reaction about what Tierney has said. The Athletic have called Celtic Tierney’s ‘boyhood club’ and have said that leaving the Bhoys wasn’t a ‘straightforward choice’ for the defender. This decision to leave Celtic and join Arsenal even gave Tierney ‘sleepless nights’, says the report.

This shows how difficult it was for Tierney to leave Celtic and the club’s fans should only wish him well for his time at Arsenal, especially considering how much he played for them during his stint at Parkhead.
