Supporters of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a report regarding Leeds United’s interest in signing Argentine defender Juan Foyth.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Marcelo Bielsa’s outfit are ‘getting closer’ to signing the centre-back and there is ‘great optimism for the closure’ of the sale.
Supposedly, the deal will set the Yorkshire club back somewhere in the region of £15m.
This report was shared to Spurs fans on Twitter by Hotspur Related, however, they stated the transfer would be worth £10-12m – but nevertheless, this had lots of fans talking.

Over the 2019/20 Premier League season, Foyth made just four appearances for Jose Mourinho’s outfit in which he neither scored nor assisted (per WhoScored).
Would you be happy if Spurs sold Juan Foyth to Leeds United?
Yes, he's not good enough
No, he's a good player
100% we should have a 20 mill buy-back clause. He has potential to be a top, top player

When the 22-year-old defender did make a rare appearance in the league for Tottenham during the 2019/20 season, he delivered a weak 6.05/10 average rating.
Foyth’s poor average rating left the Argentine centre-back as the third-worst performer to feature for Spurs.
Do it. Snap their hand off

I’ll pay for his taxi to Elland Road

As can be seen in these responses from Spurs fans, the majority would be happy to see Foyth leave the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, however, some believed that there should be a buy-back option if he does join Leeds this summer.
