Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest transfer news linking the London club with a summer move for Watford winger Ismaila Sarr.
This comes after Spurs news Twitter account @HotspurRelated shared a post on their page relaying news originally published in an article from the Daily Mirror (via Football.london).
Football.london said that the article from the Mirror claimed that Spurs are “the latest Premier League club to show an interest” in signing Sarr.
This post from @HotspurRelated then gathered a lot of replies from Spurs fans who were quick to share their responses to this post and their thoughts on the potential move.

The 22-year-old signed to Watford in the 2019 summer transfer window from French club Stade Rennais for a fee of £27 million.

In his debut season at Watford, Sarr, who is currently valued at £22.05 million, made a total of 30 appearances for the club across all competitions in which he scored six goals and provided six assists along the way (per Transfermarkt)
In his 28 Premier League appearances for Watford during the 2019/20 season, Sarr’s performances in those appearances earned him a season rating of 6.71/10, making him Watford’s sixth-highest-rated player for their campaign (per WhoScored).

It appears that the idea of Spurs signing Sarr this summer has completely split this group of Tottenham fans. It will be interesting to see if Spurs do make a move for Sarr in the coming weeks or not.
