A lot of Newcastle United fans have responded to a post from NUFC 360, which has relayed news from the Independent.ie.
The report claims that the Premier League have been accused of treating Toon fans as second-class citizens after none of their September games were selected for live TV broadcast.
The piece contains quotes from MP Ian Mearns and Thomas Concannon, a NUFC Trust member.
They both express their dismay at the decision and have not held back on the Premier League.
This has drawn a reaction from many Toon fans who are fuming with the PL.
Has this annoyed you?
Yes, it is ridiculous
No, we will be shown on TV at some point
Feel like the Premier League are punishing us because we sent Masters and his Qatar cronies some mean Tweets. It’s only going to make things worse for them. pic.twitter.com/etyKgFLldA

It’s a way of getting the fans back who have fought against them over social media and their corrupt partners

That’s actually disgraceful

Disgusting! There is a clear vendetta against Newcastle United

The Premier League probably are not in the good books of many Newcastle fans already after they failed to make a decision on the proposed takeover of the club by Amanda Staveley’s Saudi-backed consortium, and now none of their games have been selected for live broadcast until at least the start of October.
This post continued to attract many angry Toon fans who did not hold back.
It’s an amazing own goal if you think about it. It drags all of the negativity back up again. Very poor PR or just plain vindictive. Hard to tell!

It is clear from the replies that many Toon fans are fuming with the Premier League, and considering what has happened in recent months, we doubt many of them have any patience for the PL anymore.
So, for Newcastle fans to then be denied the chance to watch their team legally seems to be too much for many, and they have let their feelings be known.
However, the Toon play West Ham United, Brighton & Hove Albion, and Tottenham Hotspur in their September fixtures, which barring Spurs, you could argue are not the most attractive fixtures.
Despite this, though, every other team except the Toon and Burnley are on live TV at some point in September, so you can see why Toon fans would be angry.
