Supporters of Leeds United have been flocking to a Twitter post which was shared to social media by The Athletic’s Phil Hay.

On Monday morning, the journalist shared a link to a report on The Athletic’s website which discussed the Whites’ academy’s summer transfer business (per Phil Hay).

In the tweet, the journalist stated that Sam Greenwood is ‘set to become’ the next signing for the club’s Under-23s.

Supposedly, Leeds will ‘attempt to tie up’ the arrival of the Arsenal striker sometime this week.

So, lots of the Elland Road faithful flocked to Hay’s tweet to air their thoughts on the transfer news.
