Many Celtic fans have been talking about the latest tweet involving Odsonne Edouard that emerged on social media recently.
The official Celtic Twitter account recently posted an image of the French striker in response to a Hoops fan asking to see Edouard in the new Celtic kit. The image did show Edouard in the Celtic Adidas kit, but they showed only the upper part of the new jersey.
But this image was enough to attract the attention of many Celtic fans anyway. Many of them said that they want the striker to be handed a new contract and be given the number seven jersey.

Edouard has been linked with a move to Leicester City in recent months. Not just that, but Arsenal and Newcastle United have also drawn links with the former Paris Saint-Germain man. French side AS Monaco had an offer rejected for Edouard back in January.
Many other Hoops fans also said that they want to see the striker sign a new deal and get the number seven jersey.
Grow up and announce the new contract

These Celtic fans clearly have a liking for Edouard and want him to stay at Parkhead for a longer time. Hoops boss Neil Lennon has already revealed that the club is in talks to hand the striker a new deal and he had also hailed how much Edouard has improved during his time at Parkhead.
So that should come as good news to Celtic fans. Edouard found the back of the net 27 times in all competitions in the 2019/20 season and also won the club’s Player of the Year award for the campaign.
Clearly, Edouard is a very important player for the Hoops. Furthermore, considering his contributions to the club, he perhaps does deserve the number seven jersey.
