Some Celtic fans have flocked to a tweet that was recently posted by Olympique Lyon’s official English Twitter account in response to an earlier post from the Hoops’ own account which shared an image of Les Gones’ home, Groupama Stadium.
Celtic shared an image of Lyon’s home ground because the Hoops are set to take on both Lyon and Nice at this stadium in a pre-season tournament, as explained by Celtic’s official Twitter account.
After the Hoops posted their tweet, Lyon’s official English language account subsequently responded to the Glasgow club’s post with the words: ‘Can’t wait, @CelticFC!’
This post from @OL_English caught the attention of many Hoops fans, who responded to this tweet.

Plenty of Celtic fans opted to talk about ex-Hoops player and current Lyon man Moussa Dembele in response to this tweet.

Dembele scored 51 goals and provided 18 assists in 94 appearances in all competitions during his time at Parkhead, having a huge hand in the Scottish Premiership triumphs in the 2016/17 and 2017/18 campaigns.
With that impressive goalscoring record in mind, it mightn’t be too surprising to see that Dembele is still a popular man with some Celtic supporters and some Hoops fans replied to this post to request that the French attacker play one half of this game in Celtic colours.
surely the 2nd half at least @MDembele_10 will get a run out in the hoops??

Meanwhile, one Celtic fan replied to this post to talk about ex-Celtic loanee and current Lyon centre-back Jason Denayer, indicating that he would like to see the Belgian return to Parkhead.
While we’re here geez back denayer as well

Despite leaving Celtic to join Lyon in a transfer worth £19.8m in August 2018, as per Transfermarkt, Dembele still seems to be in the good graces of these Hoops fans and they may enjoy having the opportunity to watch their former player in action against their current squad this weekend.
