Fans of Celtic have been reacting a post on Twitter, in which Celtic’s teenage winger Karamoko Dembele shared a photograph from a match during the club’s pre-season tour of France.
The winger’s photo showed him taking a knee and raising a clenched fist as ‘part of a protest against racial inequality and injustice‘ in the world, with the action of taking a knee being prevalent in football since the death of George Floyd, a black man who was killed by a police officer in the United States back in May.
In reaction to his post, fans of Celtic flocked to have their say on the matter, with many wishing the winger well for the upcoming 2020/21 Scottish Premiership season and pledging their support to the youngster.

Although Dembele has featured just three times for Celtic’s first team, totalling 67 minutes of action, there is considerable excitement regarding the 17-year-old’s potential and future at the club.
Would you like to see Karamoko Dembele involved in Celtic's first-team more next season?
Yes
No
However, former Hoops man Frank McAvennie recently stated in an interview with Football Insider that he is worried about how little Dembele will feature next season, due to the significance of Celtic’s campaign as the Hoops go for a historic 10th Scottish Premiership title in a row.

From their comments, it would certainly seem as if Celtic fans are looking forward to Dembele developing at the club, with some even suggesting that he has a big role to play for Neil Lennon’s side next season, while others have shown their support for the winger’s protest against racial inequality – which is very pleasing to see.
