Supporters of Celtic have been reacting to the impending loan departure of Jack Hendry to Belgian side KV Oostende.

According to the Daily Record, he has flown out to Belgium to do his medical and the move is set to be completed soon.

The move will see the 25-year-old defender spend the full season on loan with the Jupiler Pro League club.

Hendry has been a Celtic player since the summer of 2018 after the club forked out £1.44m to secure his services from fellow Scottish club Dundee FC (per Transfermarkt).

However, after the news was shared to the Parkhead faithful on social media (per @celticbible), supporters flocked to the tweet to air their responses.

Since his arrival at Celtic Park, the 25-year-old centre-back has made 27 appearances for the club in which he neither scored nor assisted (per Transfermarkt).

Do you believe that Celtic should just cut their losses and sell Jack Hendry?

Hendry had been on loan with Australian outfit Melbourne City last season, however, he suffered a serious knee injury which required surgery (via Daily Record).

So, during his time with the Melbourne club, the defender made just two appearances (per Transfermarkt).

As can be seen in most of these responses from Celtic supporters, they will not be sorry to see the back of the defender if he moves to Belgium on loan.
