Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter have been reacting to the latest comments from Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp.

This comes after Spurs-focused Twitter page @LastWordOnSpurs shared a post on their page that included footage of Redknapp, shared on Twitter by @FootballDaily, speaking on Sky Sports after watching Jose Mourinho’s side beat Leicester City 3-0 at the weekend.

How well do you remember Heung-Min Son's time with Spurs? - The Lilywhites signed Son from which Bundesliga side?

On the topic of the amount of possession Spurs had against Leicester (29%) as well as in their previous league match against Arsenal (37%), Redknapp said that these stats are ‘okay when there’s no crowd’, but if they were to do that against Arsenal with the crowd there, the former Tottenham midfielder said the attending Spurs fans ‘won’t suffer that’.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Spurs fans, who were not shy in sharing their thoughts on Redknapp’s comments.

Here’s a sample of Spurs fans responding to the post:

Despite having less possession than Leicester as Redknapp mentioned, Spurs took all three points after an early own goal from Leicester full-back James Justin and a brace from Harry Kane led to the north London club winning the match, with just one game left to play this season.

Are you concerned by Spurs' possession stats?

Now that these comments from Redknapp have been doing the rounds on Twitter, this grabbed the attention of a lot of Spurs fans, who were quick to share their views on his opinion of Spurs' possession stats and how the fans will feel about it.

However, there were some Spurs fans responding to this post who were actually in agreement with Redknapp on the matter.

It appears that the majority of these Spurs fans seem to disagree with Redknapp's comments by holding the opinion that taking three points at the end of a match is more important than having more possession than their opponents.
