Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to a tweet that was recently posted by Spurs striker Harry Kane following his side’s 3-1 Premier League win over Newcastle United on Wednesday evening.
Kane scored twice to help his side earn a 3-1 win over Newcastle United in Wednesday’s game. As per the BBC, the Englishman ‘passed 200 goals at club level’ after bagging a brace in midweek and he took to Twitter to celebrate that achievement as well as his team’s win after the game.
The England captain also showed respect to his teammate Serge Aurier in his post-match tweet, dedicating the win to the Ivorian right-back, who played the entirety of Wednesday’s game despite the fact that his brother, Christopher, was murdered in France on Monday.
After 26-year-old Kane posted this tweet sharing support for Aurier and acknowledging the fact that he has now hit and surpassed the 200-goal mark at club level in his career, plenty of Tottenham supporters replied to the striker’s post.
That win was for you @Serge_aurier ? Very proud to reach 200 club goals. On to the next 200 ???? pic.twitter.com/UM7LxfoHXK

It is nice to see this show of support from Kane and some of these Spurs supporters for Aurier, during what is undoubtedly a difficult time for the defender.
Additionally, it is unsurprising that plenty of Tottenham supporters have responded with positive messages for Kane after the Spurs man scored his 200th and 201st club goals – 185 of which have come while playing for Tottenham – as these fans may feel grateful to have such a prolific goalscorer at their club.
