A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a post from their club that has shown what the Toon’s home kit will look like for the 2020/21 season.
Puma has remained as the club’s kit manufacturers, while FUN88 remains as the main shirt sponsors, and the design includes more stripes than this season’s kit.
The back is also striped and not a block colour.
However, judging by the reactions of most of these Toon fans, they are not happy with it or its price.
Do you like the new home kit?
No, so lazy
Yes, looks good
Most lackluster strip reveal in my 30 years supporting the club. How you can charge 65 quid for that is shocking, it’s virtually identical to the strip 2 years ago

Newcastle are in the middle of an ongoing takeover by Amanda Staveley’s Saudi-backed consortium.
Their deal has been with the Premier League since April after a deposit was paid to Ashley.
keeper kit is unreal

We think the kit is okay, and the stripes on the back make this design better than this season’s, but in the grand scheme of things, does it really matter?
The Toon are currently in limbo, and the transfer window is fast approaching, so the Premier League really need to make a decision on the club’s proposed takeover, or the Toon could be in danger.
Issues over piracy in Saudi Arabia have plagued the deal, but surely, they are close to making a decision after months of negotiations. We certainly that this is the case.
Meanwhile, it certainly seems clear to some fans at least, that the fate of Newcastle’s owner is a more pressing matter than the release of the club’s new kit.
