Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays quotes by Charlie Nicholas on Tottenham’s recent results.
In a recent article for Sky Sports, Nicholas predicted the outcomes of the final games of the Premier League season.
For the Crystal Palace v Spurs fixture, the former Arsenal man had this to say about Tottenham’s recent form:
“Spurs haven’t impressed me at all, but what they’ve done – and this is nothing to do with Jose Mourinho – is ground out results. They got a win against Arsenal and didn’t deserve it, a win against West Ham and I didn’t think they deserved that, they got a win at Newcastle, and I didn’t think they deserved that. But compliments to them, because they did it, and that’s how they’ve got themselves into this good place to qualify for the Europa League.”
After his comments were relayed on Twitter by The Spurs Web, fans of the club flocked to have their say on the matter, with many suggesting that Nicholas is just bitter.

It would certainly seem as if these Spurs fans believe that Nicholas is just jealous of Spurs, and, considering the fact that Arsenal are currently 10th in the Premier League, while Spurs are seventh, they may not be too wide of the mark.
Wonder what he says about our win against Leicester

While Spurs do indeed still have a chance at qualifying for European football this season, considering the fact that they finished fourth last term, as well as reaching the Champions League final, it has not particularly been a season to shout about, either.
