Newcastle United fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest social media post from the North East club.
This comes after the official Newcastle Twitter account shared a post on their page that contained four images of several Toon players during a recent training session.
Some of the players captured in the images included Jonjo Shelvey, Danny Rose, Miguel Almiron, Dwight Gayle and Allan Saint-Maximin.
The page captioned their post saying that the players are “getting set” for their final Premier League match of the season against champions Liverpool at St. James’ Park.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Newcastle fans, who were quick to share their responses to the post.

Newcastle currently sit in 13th place in the Premier League table with 44 points having comfortably achieved mid-table safety, despite a poor run of recent form (per BBC Sport).
Some Newcastle fans were responding to this post sharing their hopes that their upcoming clash with Liverpool will be the final game with Mike Ashley as the club’s owner.

It appears that this post from the club and these images of the players in training have evoked a lot of different thoughts and emotions from this group of Newcastle fans.
The best thing these Newcastle fans can do now is to support the team and hope they can end their season on a high by getting a positive result against Liverpool on Sunday.
