Supporters of Newcastle United have been flocking to a Twitter post from the club’s on-loan midfielder Nabil Bentaleb.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Schalke 04 loan man posted a photo of himself and Allan Saint-Maximin from training (per Nabil Bentaleb).
Alongside the photo, the Algerian also added the comment: ‘Hard work does always pay’.
Bentaleb has been situated at St. James’ Park since the January transfer window, having signed for the Toon from Schalke on loan until the end of the season (per BBC).
However, following the midfielder’s post to social media, lots of Newcastle fans flocked to it to air their thoughts.

Since signing for the club, the 25-year-old middleman has made seven Premier League appearances, however, has neither scored nor assisted (per WhoScored).
Would you want Newcastle to sign Nabil Bentaleb permanently at the end of the season?
Yes, he's been solid for us
No, he's not good enough
Impressed with him last couple appearances ????

Not only has the midfielder neither delivered a goal nor an assist, but his performances have also been relatively poor.
Bentaleb has been the 17th-best performer to feature for Steve Bruce’s outfit in the league this season with a weak 6.61/10 average rating.
Hope you start tomorrow Nabil! Don’t fear them. Take it to Man City and you will see they are very beatable!!

One supporter took the opportunity to pass comment about Mike Ashley, though.
Are you trying to tell me that Ashley is so tight he’s paying you in Lonsdale boxing gloves ?! ? #NUFC

However, as can be seen in most of these responses from Newcastle supporters, it is clear that they have been impressed with the Algerian recently.
