In this 2019/20 season quiz, do you remember who scored Villa's first PL goal of the season?

On the topic of potential transfers Villa could look to make this summer, Dunsworth shared his thoughts on the QPR attacker.

He said: “[Eberechi] Eze is just fun. He just looks so fun. But QPR are going to look for megabucks for him and he’s a guy you would look at paying it because he just looks like a really, really fun and good footballer. And at 22 years of age, he’s going to grow into himself as well and you could be looking at somebody who is good for years to come.”

The 22-year-old, who is currently valued at £8.1 million according to Transfermarkt, has been QPR’s top performer this season, earning himself a season rating of 7.36/10 for his performances in the 46 Championship appearances he made for the London club this season (per WhoScored).

Eze has already been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent weeks with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Crystal Palace, West Ham United and newly-promoted Leeds United all reportedly interested in signing the player.

TIF Thoughts…

Given how impressive Eze has been for QPR this season and has managed to play across a number of positions in this campaign, it’s no wonder that Dunsworth is full of praise for the 22-year-old.

One of Eze’s player strengths include his ability to take set-pieces, this could make him a good fit at Villa as one of their strengths include their ability to attack set-pieces (per WhoScored).

It will be interesting to see if Villa do go and try and sign Eze this summer and give him the opportunity to shine in the Premier League.
