West Brom: Fans purr over club tweet sharing an image of Grady Diangana

A post from West Brom’s official Twitter account that shares an image of Grady Diangana caught the attention of plenty of Baggies fans lately. 

The Baggies captioned this post featuring an image of the 22-year-old winger with the words ‘Diangana Baby’. This image appears to have been taken during a West Brom training session. As per the club’s official website, Baggies players returned to the club’s training ground last week to take part in group training sessions for the first time since professional football was postponed in England back in March.

A lot of West Brom fans have flocked to this post to share praise for the attacker who has been on loan at The Hawthorns from West Ham United since last August. One West Brom fan even called for the club to “go all out” to try and sign Diangana this summer, upon the completion of his current loan spell with the club.

Diangana, who is currently valued at £4.05m according to Transfermarkt, has delivered some impressive performances during his time at The Hawthorns this term. The 22-year-old has scored five goals and provided five assists in his 21 league appearances for the Baggies this season.

Diangana has earned an average overall rating of 7.15 from his 21 league appearances this term according to WhoScored, who rank him as the Baggies’ fourth-highest rated player in the Championship for the 2019/20 campaign. 

With that in mind, it may not come as a surprise that these West Brom fans have reacted positively to this image of Diangana in training.
