Many Celtic fans have been talking about the latest news update linking the club with a move for Joe Hart.

The Telegraph had recently reported that the Hoops will look to make a move for Hart if they fail to keep Fraser Forster at the club this summer. More recently, the Daily Record quoted a ‘senior Parkhead source’ about the Hoops’ chase of the former England goalkeeper. The source told the outlet that the club have held talks with Hart’s representatives and more talks were to be held ‘before the weekend’. The source also said that any transfer would depend on Forster’s situation.

Starting with an easy one- apart from Paris Saint-Germain, which other French club did Edouard play for?

The news about the club holding talks for Hart caught the attention of many Celtic fans. They took to social media to make their opinions very clear. Most of them had a negative opinion about the Englishman.

Who should Celtic sign?

Hart is currently at Premier League side Burnley, having joined the club from Manchester City in the summer of 2018. However, the 33-year-old is set to be without a club at the end of this month. He has previously been at West Ham United and Torino (via Transfermarkt).

Many other Celtic fans made their negative opinions known for Hart.

Clearly, these Celtic fans won’t like it if the club end up signing Hart instead of signing Forster from Southampton in the summer.

Hart hasn’t even been playing regularly at Burnley this season. He has made only three appearances in all competitions and is yet to play even once in the Premier League (via Transfermarkt).

Therefore, it is easy to see why some supporters are sceptical over a possible move to Parkhead for the ex-Manchester City goalkeeper.
