Many Celtic fans have been talking about the latest tweet involving Moritz Bauer that emerged on social media recently.
The Celtic Twitter account recently posted an image of Bauer training with the Hoops. This tweet came in response to a Celtic fan demanding an image of the right-back undergoing training with the Parkhead-based side.
This tweet caught the attention of many Celtic fans. They rushed to the post and some said that they couldn’t even recognise who it was. One fan said that he thought it was an image of a new signing.

Was Bauer unfairly treated at Celtic?

Bauer had joined Celtic on loan from English side Stoke City in the summer of 2019. Since arriving, the Austrian hasn’t been a regular at Parkhead.
The defender has made 13 appearances in all competitions only. He has three assists to his name though. However, he has played only nine Premiership games, assisting twice. He featured in the club’s game against Rangers earlier in the season (via Transfermarkt).
Because of how rarely he’s played, many other Celtic fans had other things to say about Bauer. One fan even asked the tweet to be deleted.

Clearly, Celtic fans don’t really have a liking for Bauer and some don’t even remember if he played for the Hoops. But that is bound to happen, considering how little he played in the 2019/20 campaign.
In recent months, the defender has admitted that the experience at Parkhead has been a bitter one. He had also said that he will have ‘the chance to get people talking’ once he returns to Stoke for next season. So this clearly shows that it is highly unlikely that Bauer remains at Parkhead for too long.
