Dembele was at Celtic for a couple of seasons in his career, joining the club from Fulham in the summer of 2016 before leaving to join Lyon in the summer of 2018 (via Transfermarkt).
While Celtic fans made their admiration for Dembele very clear, others said that they want the Frenchman to return to Parkhead at some point. Meanwhile, some said that they want Dembele to come back when the club celebrates winning the tenth Premiership title in a row next season.

During his stint at Celtic Park, Dembele racked up a very impressive goalscoring tally for the Hoops. He made 94 appearances in all competitions for the Bhoys and scored 51 goals, alongside a tally of 18 assists (via Transfermarkt).
This shows how important a player Dembele was during his time at Celtic. While no one knows if he will ever come back to the club, it is very clear that Celtic fans still have a lot of admiration for the Lyon striker. He has been linked with moves to Chelsea and Manchester United in recent months and Celtic fans should be glad that the Hoops have played a key part in the Frenchman’s development.
