Many Celtic supporters have been reacting to a tweet from their former defender Kieran Tierney. The 23-year-old left Celtic Park in August 2019 to sign for Arsenal in a deal reportedly worth £24.3m (as per Transfermarkt.co.uk).
The left-back played 170 times for the Hoops, providing an impressive 37 assists during his time in Glasgow. Tierney played 90 minutes for Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal during their FA Cup quarter-final victory at Sheffield United at the weekend it appears his post has prompted many of his former fans to respond.
Well played son, MOTM performance. Forever Hail Hail ???

It’s clear from the above responses that these fans still hold their former player in high-regard despite him leaving the club for the Premier League. However, one supporter made no secret of the fact she feels he left the club too soon and could have ended up somewhere ‘bigger’ than Arsenal had he remained patient.
He moved too soon. Should have stayed for the 10. He could have went to a much better and bigger club. Celtic boy through and through.. Arsenal waved the money and he was off. ?

Would you like to see Kieran Tierney return to Celtic someday?
Yes
No
Since signing for the Gunners, Tierney has been extremely unfortunate with injuries which is why he has been limited to just 15 appearances for the club to date. However, judging by the tone of the above responses, we can assume that most Celtic supporters wish him well and hope he goes on to fulfil his potential.
