Spurs fans on Twitter have been discussing Lucas Moura, after Football.london journalist Alasdair Gold shared an article with his thoughts on the winger.

The journalist shared a link to his article for Football.london on Twitter, which has provoked a response from plenty of Lilywhites supporters, many of whom were quick to share their opinion on the former PSG man. With Jose Mourinho having confirmed that he will have a fully fit squad available to him when the Premier League resumes from its enforced break next week, you wonder whether the 27-year-old winger will continue to have a starting role.

How well do you remember Heung-Min Son's time with Spurs? - The Lilywhites signed Son from which Bundesliga side?

So far this season, the Brazilian has featured 27 times in the top-flight, contributing just four goals and two assists and averaging a 6.89 rating for his performances (per WhoScored). Therefore, it may not be a surprise to see him replaced in the starting line-up by January signing Steven Bergwijn, who contributed two goals in his first five appearances (per WhoScored) in the Premier League, before an ankle injury looked to end his season (per BBC).

Should Moura be a regular starter in the remaining games?

Moura, who is valued at £28.8 million (as per Transfermarkt), was also regularly used by Mourinho as a makeshift striker following the injury to Harry Kane earlier in the season, but now that the Englishman is also back fit, it would perhaps not be a surprise to see the 27-year-old drop to the bench in the remaining fixtures.

Reaction from Spurs fans to Gold’s article on Moura can be seen in the tweets below

Other Lilywhites supporters took the opportunity to slam the 27-year-old, however.

Overall, it seems as if a lot of Spurs fans aren’t too keen on Moura and feel he shouldn’t be a regular starter when the season resumes later this month.
