On the latest episode of Tottenham Hotspur podcast The Extra Inch, Chris Miller, Nathan Clark and @BardiTFC have been discussing the latest goings-on at the North London club, including a discussion on the impact they expect Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son to have in the remaining Premier League fixtures.

One Spurs fan asked the trio what they expect Jose Mourinho’s starting line-up to look like for the majority of the remaining fixtures – the first of which sees the Lilywhites take on Manchester United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this Friday evening.

How well can you remember Spurs' season so far? - Who did Spurs beat in the opening fixture?

Bardi was asked to name his likely starting eleven for that game, to which he responded:

“I think Kane and Son will start, just the way Kane is, if he can run, he starts. I don’t think we’re going to see a huge change from the team we were seeing before the lockdown happened, but we’ve just put Kane instead of Lucas and then put Son in there instead of Bergwijn and that will probably be our team. It depends on who’s fit, but I think Kane and Son definitely nailed on to start, it would be ridiculous not to start them.”

TIF Thoughts…

Both Kane and Son were out injured before the enforced break, but Mourinho confirmed that the duo would be back fit ahead of the Premier League’s restart. It is certainly difficult to disagree with Bardi’s claim that it would be ridiculous not to start both of them against Manchester United when you consider that the Englishman has 17 goals in all competitions this season, whilst the South Korean winger has just one fewer.

Do you think Kane and Son will both start on Friday?

It will be interesting to see if they both start against Mourinho’s old side this Friday.
