Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest social media post from Alasdair Gold.
This comes after the Spurs journalist shared a post on his official Twitter page asking his followers if they could potentially see Tanguy Ndombele play in the advanced playmaker role should talks of a potential injury to Giovani Lo Celso, that Gold claims to be “very much unconfirmed”, turn out to be true.
This post from Gold then gathered a lot of replies from Spurs fans who were not shy in sharing their thoughts on the matter.
Here’s a sample of Spurs fans responding to the post:
If talk of Giovani Lo Celso potentially having an injury that's worse than first thought (very much unconfirmed I should stress) were to be true will we see Ndombele become an advanced playmaker in the side? The Frenchman appeared to be in that role in the training match footage.

So far this season, Lo Celso has been fairly disappointing for Spurs in the Premier League. In 19 league appearances for Jose Mourinho’s side, the Argentine has been awarded a season rating of 6.48/10 for his performances in the league, making him the 22nd highest-rated player in the Spurs squad (per WhoScored).
The absolute state of our fitness and conditioning methods. Woeful

However, his performances in the Champions League are a different matter entirely. In five appearances for the Lilywhites in the Champions League, Lo Celso has a rating of 7.31/10, making him the fourth-highest-rated player in the Spurs squad (per WhoScored).
For once, can the rumour please be false and we have a full squad to pick from! ??????

I’m gonna be the only one that’s probably brave enough to say this but GLC fast becoming an injury concern and once again it’s the hip that’s a huge worry for me

Would Lo Celso be a big miss for Spurs if he is out injured?
Yes
No
Now that Gold has shared this post on his official Twitter page insinuating the possibility of the midfielder being out injured, this sparked a big reaction on Twitter with lots of Spurs fans sharing their dismay over the matter.
NOOOOOOOOOOO

It appears that Gold’s insinuation on a potential injury for Lo Celso has disappointed this group of Spurs fans. So much so that they seem to have completely ignored his point on Ndombele and how he could be used in Lo Celso’s potential absence.
However, it is understandable why these Spurs fans would be hoping to not see any injuries to any of their players as the season looks to resume later this month.
The hope for these Spurs fans seems to be that Lo Celso isn’t injured and can hopefully play a part in Spurs’ remaining matches this season.
