Image for Tottenham Hotspur: Fans buzz over image of Giovani Lo Celso in training

Tottenham Hotspur-focused journalist Alasdair Gold recently took to Twitter to share an image of Giovani Lo Celso in training at Hotspur Way.

A lot of Spurs fans have been reacting with delight to Gold’s tweet sharing this image of Lo Celso. Just one day prior to sharing this image, Gold posted a tweet which speculated about “Lo Celso potentially having an injury” which could have kept him out of action for some games upon the Premier League’s return later this month.

However, Gold quashed those rumours on Monday as he shared an image of Lo Celso in training, indicating that the Argentinian midfielder is not injured.

After Gold shared this update on Lo Celso via a tweet, many Spurs fans flocked to this post to share their delight, with one Tottenham supporter stating that this is “superb” news.

As per WhoScored, Lo Celso delivered some particularly impressive performances for Spurs in the UEFA Champions League this season, earning an average overall rating of 7.31 from his five appearances in that competition, making him Tottenham’s fourth-highest rated player in the Champions League this term. With that in mind, it may not come as a big surprise that some Tottenham fans shared some relief that he doesn’t appear to be injured in response to this post.

Lo Celso already missed some games earlier this season due to a hip injury and with that in mind, it may be understandable why some Tottenham supporters appear to be relieved to see that he doesn’t appear to be carrying another significant injury at present, as they may be excited to see more of the Argentinian when the Premier League restarts later this month.
