Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to an image of Dele Alli at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The club organised an 11 vs 11 training match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last week, as they prepare for the resumption of top-flight football later this month. Alli scored in that match, which perhaps led to the club sharing the image of the midfielder, saying: “Dele is ready.”
Spurs signed the midfielder from MK Dons in 2015 and during his time with the North London club, the 24-year-old has gone on to make 219 appearances, contributing an impressive 62 goals and 55 assists (per Transfermarkt).
The England international has enjoyed a solid campaign in the Premier League thus far, contributing eight goals and four assists in 22 appearances in the top-flight, earning a 6.96 average rating (per WhoScored).
Do you think Alli has had a good season so far?
Yes
No
However, he will no doubt be hoping to improve on those statistics when the season resumes later this month, with Mourinho’s side set to face Manchester United in their first game back. Alli scored in the reverse fixture back in December.
Reaction from Spurs fans to the image of Alli can be seen in the tweets below.

Other Spurs fans made reference to the fact that he might not be ready, due to the potential ban he faces from the FA.

Overall, it seems as if a lot of Spurs fans are not too keen on Alli at the moment, so hopefully, he can improve on his form when the season resumes and help push the Lilywhites back up the Premier League table.
