2018/19 season quiz: How many points did Jurgen Klopp's side accumulate in the Premier League?

Doyle claimed that in his opinion, he doesn’t think ‘there’s any chance he’ll play for Liverpool again’.

This comes in reference to the recent news that Wilson loan deal at fellow Premier League side AFC Bournemouth has been extended so he can take part in the remainder of the current season for Eddie Howe’s side.

Wilson came through Liverpool’s youth system to their U18s squad back in 2013 and since then, Wilson has spent time on loan at clubs such as Crewe Alexandra, Hull City, Derby County and now Bournemouth (per Transfermarkt).

This season has seen Wilson make 23 appearances for Bournemouth in the Premier League in which he has managed to score seven goals (per Transfermarkt).

TIF Thoughts…

Despite Wilson’s appearances for Bournemouth this season, this seems to have had no effect on Doyle’s views on the winger and the likelihood of him playing for Liverpool ever again.

It would be a shame if Wilson didn’t get a chance at Liverpool since he’s been at the Merseyside club for so long.

Wilson could perhaps be a good fit for Klopp’s side though as some of his strengths include his finishing and his through-balls (per WhoScored).

This links well with Liverpool as some of their strengths include finishing scoring chances and creating chances using through balls (per WhoScored).
