A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a post from BeIN Media Group that confirms that they cannot broadcast Serie A games anymore.
It claims that this is because of legal reasons, and it has drawn the attention of these Toon fans, who are using this post to mock Richard Keys.
Keys works for BeIN Sports and has been claiming in recent days that because of the actions of Saudi Arabia, a lot of his friends have lost jobs and has appeared to oppose the proposed takeover of the club by the Saudi state – so it seems like Newcastle fans are using this latest announcement to have a go at Keys.
Do you find this funny?
Yes

BeIN represents the main opposition to Amanda Staveley’s Saudi-backed takeover of Newcastle and has sent a letter to the Premier League as well as a QC’s opinion to express why they don’t want this takeover to happen.
So, it is no surprise to see these Toon fans mock this announcement.
Getting it fine on my beoutq box thanks. ?

This is basically because Bein are unhappy with Serie A because they held a tournament in Saudi Arabia.

After a WTO report ruled that pirate TV station BeoutQ was from Saudi Arabia and operated by people from within the country, Saudi Arabia has announced an official crackdown on piracy and also sent a letter to major sports bodies claiming that they will now take responsibility for stopping piracy.
These are seen as positive steps forward for this takeover with the Daily Mail’s Craig Hope suggesting that a decision from the Premier League is now just days away, and from what he has heard, it is positive for the takeover.
BeIN has tried its best to stop this deal from happening, but it seems as if the Premier League is going to rule in favour of the takeover deal.
Hopefully, an announcement is not far away and this whole saga can be brought to an end.
