2018/19 season quiz: How many points did Jurgen Klopp's side accumulate in the Premier League?

The Serbian midfielder first joined the Merseyside club back in the 2016 January transfer window from Red Star Belgrade for a fee of £6.3 million according to Transfermarkt.

After being loaned back to Red Star in the same month for the rest of the season, Grujic spent the second half of the 2017/18 season on loan at Cardiff City (per Transfermarkt).

After that, Grujic went out on loan again, this time to Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin where he currently remains (per Transfermarkt).

This season for Hertha has seen the 24-year-old, who is currently valued at £13.05 million according to Transfermarkt, in good form.

His performances in his 25 Bundesliga appearances has seen the midfielder pick up a season rating of 6.98/10, making him the fifth highest-rated player in the Hertha squad this season (per WhoScored).

TIF Thoughts…

Given the fact that Grujic has been on numerous loan deals and only made 14 appearances (per Transfermarkt) for Jurgen Klopp’s side since his arrival at the Merseyside club back in 2016, this just goes to show that he hasn’t been required at the club.

Perhaps if he made a permanent move away from the Reds in the summer, he could cut all ties with Liverpool and move on to the next stage of his career.

Unless he gets reassurances from Klopp that he could become a regular player for Liverpool soon, maybe his best move would be to go to a club he is needed.
