What do we think?
Considering that Ajayi only joined West Brom last summer from Rotherham United, it may be fair to say that the 26-year-old has made a fairly significant impact for the Baggies throughout the 2019/20 campaign. The defender has earned an average overall rating of 6.90 from his 35 Championship appearances this term according to WhoScored.
Only six other Baggies players have earned a higher average overall rating than Ajayi has in the Championship this season and none of those players have played more minutes than the defender has played in the league this term. With that in mind, it may be understandable why these Baggies fans have been impressed by him this season.
