A lot of Newcastle United fans have responded to a tweet from NUFC 360, which shares talk of an apparent link between the Magpies and Lyon winger Bertrand Traore.
As per GetFrenchFootballNews, a report in L’Equipe has suggested that Traore is looking to leave the Ligue 1 side in the summer, while Foot Mercato has named Newcastle as a potential suitor for the Burkina Faso international.
NUFC 360 relayed the rumours of Newcastle’s alleged interest on Twitter, however, it appears that these Toon fans do not want Traore to sign for them.

Traore has made 34 appearances in all competitions for Lyon this season, scoring four goals and providing five assists – while earning an average rating of 6.95 for his displays in Ligue 1 (as per WhoScored).
Traore left Stamford Bridge in 2017 after making 16 appearances for the Blues, scoring four goals and providing one assist.
While the rumours over transfers continue, the Toon are currently in the middle of a proposed takeover that is going through checks with the Premier League after a deposit was recently paid to Mike Ashley.
Therefore, we think that until there is an official announcement on the takeover, it is pointless speculating about players.
