Fans of Rangers have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which journalist Ewan Murray comments on the SPFL’s EGM vote on Tuesday.
In his tweet, Murray states that the “most staggering element” of the EGM vote which centred on whether clubs felt that a second independent investigation into the SPFL was necessary, was that Dundee, who were central to the reason for the calls for the vote, “didn’t vote for an investigation”.
In reaction to his tweet, fans of Rangers flocked to have their say on the matter, with many suggesting that Dundee’s actions are not staggering, but simply prove their guilt.
Do you believe that the SPFL is a corrupt organisation?
Yes
No
Most staggering element of today is that Dundee – central to this voting farce, called for all sorts, afforded opportunity to explain absolutely everything – didn't vote for an investigation ?

Theirs definitely skeletons in the closet that people are trying so hard to hide excuse after excuse not to have it why not just have it to clear names and squash any corruption and we could have moved on that’s what a don’t get if theirs nothing to hide what’s the problem

Makes you wonder what they managed to secure the other week

Of course Dundee don’t want an investigation. They were got at and that would have been revealed.

What do we think?
In total, 13 clubs backed Rangers’ calls for a second independent investigation into the SPFL, 27 were against and two abstained.
However, despite this overwhelming loss, Rangers have since repeated their calls for an overhaul in the management of the SPFL, and judging from the comments above, it would appear that they still have the backing of their fans, who appear convinced of wrongdoing on the parts of both the SPFL and Dundee.
