Some West Brom fans have flocked to a tweet that was recently posted by Baggies-focused Twitter account @WestBromNews which shares a report from Birmingham Live linking the Baggies with Fenerbahce attacker Vedat Muriqi.

As per this report, Turkish newspaper Aksam has claimed that Muriqi is allegedly on the Baggies’ radar prior to the upcoming summer transfer window. Birmingham Live’s article goes on to state that West Brom are allegedly “willing to offer £18m to secure his signature”.

However, Muriqi, who plays his international football for Kosovo, is also being chased by Tottenham Hotspur according to Kosovo Football Federation president Agim Ademi who recently shared this alleged news with Syri TVas reported by Sport Witness

To kick off this quiz on the Championship's newcomers for the 2019/20 season, can you name which club West Brom's Matheus Pereira joined the Baggies on loan from last summer?

While some Baggies fans shared some optimism in response to this post, others shared that they don’t have much confidence in their club’s ability to secure this player’s signature.

Do you think that West Brom could rival Tottenham Hotspur to sign this player?

YES, OF COURSE

What do we think?

Considering that Tottenham, who have finished in one of the Premier League’s top six positions for each of the last 10 seasons prior to the 2019/20 campaign, are also allegedly interested in the player, it may be understandable why some Baggies fans don’t appear to be overly excited about this report, considering that they currently compete in England’s second tier.
