Some Charlton Athletic fans have flocked to a tweet that was recently posted by Addicks-focused Twitter account @AddicksHQ asking the club’s supporters to share whether or not they would like to see Jonathan Leko make a permanent move to The Valley for next season.

Leko spent some time on loan at Charlton from West Brom this season, joining the club back in August on what was initially going to be a season-long deal. However, the 21-year-old picked up an anterior cruciate ligament injury back in December which ended his season and his loan spell at The Valley, as a result, the player then returned to West Brom.

Despite this injury, Leko may have impressed some Charlton fans with his performances during his loan spell at the club as many of the Addicks fans who have been responding to this tweet have taken this opportunity to share some praise for Leko, with some calling for the attacker to join the club on a permanent basis.

To kick off this quiz on the Championship's top goalscorers, can you name the league's top goalscorer from its inaugural 2004/05 campaign?

Do you think that Charlton Athletic could bring Jonathan Leko to the club on a permanent deal for next season?

YES, WHY NOT?

YES, WHY NOT?

NOT A CHANCE

NOT A CHANCE

What do we think?

Leko scored five goals and provided four assists in his 21 league games for the Addicks this term. Despite being ruled out since December, only three Charlton players have scored more league goals than Leko for the Addicks this season, while only Jonathan Williams has provided more league assists than Leko has for the Addicks this term.

With that in mind, it might be understandable why these Charlton fans seem to feel that Leko could make a difference for the Addicks if brought to the club on a permanent deal for next season.
