Many Charlton Athletic supporters have flocked to a recent tweet from the club’s official Twitter account which shares footage of Johnnie Jackson putting his own spin on an Oasis-inspired song.
As explained by Charlton’s official website, Jackson, who is currently the club’s assistant manager, had been set to take part in the London Marathon with the aim of raising money for the ‘Children With Cancer UK’ charity.
However, the marathon, which was due to take place on Sunday 26th April, was postponed due to the current viral outbreak. As a result, Jackson has been trying to raise money for this charity by releasing songs upon hitting certain charity donation targets.
His most recent song, which was shared by the Addicks’ official Twitter account, has been released after his target of £3,000 was hit. Plenty of Addicks supporters have been reacting positively to this footage, with one Charlton supporter declaring that this song is Jackson’s “best one so far”.

What do we think?
Considering that there is no professional football being played in England at present due to the viral outbreak, it may be understandable why a lot of Charlton fans have responded positively to Jackson’s decision to use this time to raise some money for charity.
