Some Charlton Athletic fans have flocked to a tweet that was recently posted by Addicks-focused Twitter account @100PercentCafc, which asks fans of the club to rate Erhun Oztumer’s season out of 10.

Oztumer moved to Charlton from Bolton Wanderers on a free transfer back in August, however, as per the Addicks’ official website, the player is actually a product of the club’s “renowned academy”.

This article from the club’s official website shares some comments from manager Lee Bowyer, who described Oztumer as “a very good player” upon bringing him to The Valley, going on to claim that the player would bring “a bit of flair” to their game.

However, it appears that some Addicks fans don’t think that this has been the case for the 28-year-old playmaker judging by the responses to @100PercentCafc’s post, where some Charlton supporters have been critical of the player. Read the reactions of some Addicks fans to this post about Oztumer in the tweets below.

Have you been impressed by Erhun Oztumer this season?

YES, HE'S BEEN GOOD

YES, HE'S BEEN GOOD

NO, HE'S BEEN POOR

NO, HE'S BEEN POOR

What do we think?

Considering that he was described as “a very good player” by Bowyer when he joined the club, it may be understandable why some Addicks fans have been disappointed by Oztumer’s performances for Charlton this term, as the attacking midfielder has managed to make just one league assist in his 14 Championship appearances for the club since moving to The Valley back in August.
