Some Celtic fans have been talking about the issue surrounding how the club has been handling the season ticket refunds recently.
Hoops-related page ‘Celtic Research’ recently posted some details about how the club is looking to deal with those who are looking for a refund on their season tickets. The post labelled the club’s efforts in arranging for supporters to claim refunds as ‘poor’.
The screenshot suggested that if fans are looking for refunds, they will only be handed back a small percentage of the original price.
Many Celtic fans flocked to this tweet. And they made their disappointment and anger very clear.
Nothing on website about it either. Poor

Is this a classless move from Celtic?
Absolutely!
No, they're doing the right thing
Stingy club mentality.

I only found out about it from my son, otherwise I would have been totally unaware. Very poor from the club, I am claiming my refund.

This needs sorted out. Shocking move by the club and anger is growing. You can’t presume that the majority want to leave it in the club, not communicate this to every STH (where’s my email?) and then this print/post/cheque method in 2020? Come on

Info fired out on the same day as the 9 in a row. Playing on emotion that fans won’t take up the option. Over complicating the process. Increases the chances that some folk won’t bother with the hassle. Not a great look in the current climate, while asking for renewals.

What do we think?
These Celtic fans don’t seem too happy about how the club is allegedly dealing with the refunds. Considering how the club isn’t willing to hand them the full amount for the refund, they are bound to be disappointed. But the pandemic has affected many in financial terms and because of these uncertainties, one can see why Celtic would need the money from fans.
