Some Celtic fans have been raving at an image of Ryan Giggs, Eric Cantona and Lee Sharpe each wearing a Hoops jersey.
Celtic fan ‘Highland_Paddy’ recently posted the image of the three former Manchester United players donning the Bhoys kit. The image was from their playing days at United.
On seeing this image, many Celtic fans were left raving. They had praise for the kit from the game and some said that they would have had Eric Cantona at Parkhead. Another fan talked about the game the image was from.
Got to admit, I did like that top.

Would you have liked Celtic to sign Cantona?
Absolutely!

Could you imagine Cantona in the Hoops for real ??

The image is from Mark Hughes’ testimonial back in 1994 between United and the Hoops, with the game ending 3-1 in Celtic’s favour. Simon Donnelly scored twice for the Hoops, while Willie Falconer also scored, with Dion Dublin scoring the Red Devils’ consolation for Sir Alex Ferguson’s men (via the Independent).
What do we think?
The comments of the Celtic fans show their admiration towards the jersey and the players (especially Cantona). Since Cantona won as many as five Premier League titles and two FA Cups, it is no surprise that Celtic fans have declared that they would have liked to have a prominent player like Cantona at the club.
