Some Celtic fans have been discussing the latest transfer news involving Fraser Forster that emerged on social media recently.
The Scottish Sun recently reported that Southampton are looking to step up their interest in Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham. The report claims that the Saints are willing to include Forster in a potential deal for Ntcham and are ‘open’ to holding talks about a deal involving the goalkeeper.
The Daily Record relayed this news update on Twitter. Many Celtic fans flocked to this tweet and made their opinion about this deal clear.
Had his moments but not the best at times .. Punt him by all means but for a price that gets a more better replacement

Forster joined Celtic on loan from Southampton in the summer of 2019. He has been a regular between the sticks, making 39 appearances in all competitions. In the Premiership, he has made 28 appearances while keeping 14 clean sheets (via Transfermarkt).
What do we think?
Many Celtic fans think that this deal would be good for the club. Considering how regular Forster has been this season, the club signing him permanently from Southampton will make sense. His penalty saves against Rangers in the League Cup final and against Copenhagen in the first leg of the Round of 32 of the Europa League show how important a player he is for Celtic.
