Some Celtic fans have been discussing the possibility of having a new banner in place at Parkhead.
Hoops-related page Celtic Research posted an image of Parkhead, saying that with the club now close to winning a ninth Premiership title in a row, there needs to be a new banner outside the stadium, with the team having equalled the club’s run of titles between 1965/66 and 1973/74.
Many Celtic fans rushed to this post. There was a variety of opinions as the fans discussed their views, including which banner would need replacing.
Ah but which one needs to come down for it? Me and the wee man had this discussion after the last game on the way home. What does it replace? Wim?

While football is currently suspended, Celtic find themselves 13 points clear of Rangers at the top of the table. They have already won the League Cup and are in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup (via Transfermarkt) as they look to stretch their current period of domestic dominance.
What do we think?
There seems to be a variety of opinions about this, but it is fair to say that winning nine titles in a row is certainly an incredible achievement. Keeping that in mind, the current Hoops team deserves to have a separate banner for themselves if the Bhoys do end up winning yet another Premiership title this season.
