Some Celtic fans have been talking about James Forrest after a post about the player emerged on Twitter.
Celtic fan @Highland_paddy recently posted on Twitter. The post carried an image of Forrest and had some words for the Hoops star. It said that Forrest ‘deserves as much credit as anyone else’ in helping the club win the Premiership title. The post said that while he may not be everyone’s favourite, he has ‘dug in’ to make an impact.
Many Celtic fans flocked to this post about Forrest. Some of them hailed him and said that he gets undeserved criticism.
I think Jamesy is the most underrated player I’ve ever seen at Celtic. For such a talent he takes some amount of stick. No idea what the lad has to do to get the recognition he deserves.

28-year-old Forrest has been a regular for the Hoops this season. In all competitions, he has scored 16 goals while picking up 22 assists. In the Premiership, the Scotland international scored 10 goals while assisting 17 times (via Transfermarkt).
What do we think?
Forrest’s numbers this season show how important a player he has been for the Hoops in 2019/20. As per Transfermarkt, he has racked up the third-highest number of goals this season at the club and has the highest assist tally in the most recent campaign, too. This is a reflection of why he deserves a lot of credit for his performances.
