Some Celtic fans have mocked Tom English after a post involving the BBC journalist caught their attention recently.
A Celtic fan recently posted about English on Twitter, criticising him for making ‘no comment’ about Celtic’s title win and that he is sitting at home with a ‘massive petted lip’.
The tweet follows Celtic being awarded the Premiership title on Monday, though not before plenty of controversy, as their Old Firm rivals had said that they would fund for an independent investigation against the SPFL after they accused the organisation of bullying for the vote last month which ended the league seasons below the Premiership. However, their resolution for an investigation was voted against by the majority of clubs at last week’s EGM.
Many Celtic fans flocked to this tweet. They bashed English because they believe that he has a bias against the Parkhead side.

What do we think?
Celtic fans clearly don’t have too much of a liking for English. Considering the journalist had put out tweets against the SPFL and Neil Doncaster, they seem to feel that he took Rangers’ side in the whole issue last week. In that sense, it is easy to understand why they don’t like him much.
